It won't hurt anything to change the name of my cookies for the phpbb section will it? I understand everyone will probably have to login again, but other than that?

I think it depends on what you change it to. I know that I've altered my cookies before and ended up with session ID issues and new posts not showing as they should.

I have done this many times with absolutely no problems.

You "shouldn't" have any problem.

I'm having a problem with posts not showing as being read when I've read them already or when I go back to the main page, all boards will clear as if I've read them all instead of just the one that I have. So I thought about changing the name in case they could possibly conflict with another sites cookies.

Funny you should mention that thread as it's the very one that fixed my problems.

That one should be a sticky. Once I followed the directions and cleared my cookies all problems went away. Thanks again guys.
