Displaying screenshots in the center block?
I'm new to phpnuke first of all.

I want to create a collection of web links that when clicked, will display a screen shot and brief description of the site in the center block.

Is this possible? Is there an existing module that I could use to accomplish this?

Can't you just put the weblinks module on your main page from the modules admin?

Either that or create a custom block with all your screenshots at a much smaller size that, when clicked on, re-direct you to the weblinks area and then onto the linked site.

Other than that I have no idea how you'd acheive what your looking for, sorry.

Putting the weblinks mod in the center won't show screenshots though.

I'm going to try to create a custom block with the screenshots.

It will if you make the screenshot part of the link description. If you want an example of what I'm talking about, please go here.

Ah! That's perfect... do you use the img tags in the description then?

I'm having trouble making screenshot thumbnails of sites...when I try to resize them they are so distorted. Is there a trick to this?

Those imagest are 110 x 56 I believe and I resize the image as part of my html coding. If the banner loox distorted in doing so, I'll open the image file in photoshop and adjust it to my liking, then save and upload to my server.

Typically, I use image coding as follows most of the time:

Code:
[img]http://www.sitename/imagename/filetype[/img]

Everytime I try this or a simple link as above, when I save the changes it reverts to this
Code:
<div align="center"><img></div>
I have tried many different ways and even turned the editor off in congig.php..

I still end up with a corupted script?

I have placed the tag into config but I can't get it to save the tags without dumping or corrupting them, editor on or not.
Code:
$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"img"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"div"=>2,"u"=>1,"a"=>2 etc
I am using the patched nuke 7.9 .... (the original had no problems)
