Forum Header and Alignment Support - 09-10-2007, 08:42 AM

I was redirected here after talking to an extremely helpful member of the phpbb.com community. I was hoping he would be able to offer me some insight (which he did). However, he was hesitant for me to get support from the phpBB community with me using Nuke.

Yes, I used the search engines...in fact I have spent over twelve hours total by now looking for a solution for my problem and have yet to find one. I do apologize if any part of this message is a repeat of something you gents have already dealt with.

My current header navigation bar looks like this:

Main • FAQ • Search • User Groups • Profile • Members List • Private Messages
Arcade • Attachments • Buddy List • Ranks • Rules • Smilies List • Statistics • Staff

I want it to look like this:

Main • FAQ • Search • User Groups • Profile • Members List • Private Messages

Here is a screenshot.

In addition to this header problem, I'm also having trouble figuring out how to get rid of the blocks on the left hand side of the screen while in forum view. (I understand that this is a more common problem, and I actually ran across a forum a few days ago with the solution. However, I lost the forum and have not been able to find it again.)

Thanks.

look in your theme folder
/root/site_folder/themes

themes/fiblack3d/forums/overall_header.tpl

open it in dreamweaver / or similar program that allows you to see both the code and the out put, this helps in by not leting you mess up too much

i used the theme im editing as an example.
