I'm somewhat confused - 06-29-2004, 08:25 PM

Connection Strings
Perl $dbh = DBI->connect("DBI:mysql:deadcla_boyz:localhost","deadc la_Bo","<PASSWORD HERE>");
PHP $dbh=mysql_connect ("localhost", "deadcla_Bo", "<PASSWORD HERE>") or die ('I cannot connect to the database because: ' . mysql_error());
mysql_select_db ("deadcla_boyz");

I've uploaded the PHP-Nuke-7.2
I've done the nuke.sql
I've done the config.php (not sure if correctly)

So why can't I see www.website.com/admin.php or www.website.com/index.php???

AND WHAT IS THAT STUFF I PUT AT THE TOP?
It's in my MySQL Account Maintenance under the Database I want to use.

config.php should look like

Code:
$dbhost = "localhost";
$dbuname = "deadcla_Bo";
$dbpass = "addyourdbpassword";
$dbname = "deadcla_Boyz";
$prefix = "nuke";
$user_prefix = "nuke";
$dbtype = "MySQL";

I tried reading that piece of :evil: ... Again and again. The only thing I can think of is I forgot to upload images and the rest in seperate formats.

Binary and whatever

Also. My webhosting company has all the files that work for the webpage inside of a folder called "www". So I assume I take the all the files from PHP-Nuke-7.2/html and insert them into that "www" folder. That's the only progress I've seen so far. I actually got a website page but had this on it:

"There seems to be a problem with the MySQL server, sorry for the inconvenience.

We should be back shortly."

Website company says it's still my settings.

Going to uplaod AGAIN and do it by the idiot guides way.

It's still not working...

Is there a site builder/fixer willing to take money to get this running?
