Open the theme's header.html in your favorite HTML editor and find the section containing the links. Feel free to modify it or add to it, though it's always a good idea to save a copy of the original in case you mess it up.

If you mean add a link in your navbar, then you'll have to open up the header.html folder and add it along with url to your new page.

This of course assumes you are using a theme that breaks out header, storypage, blocks, footer, etc., in seperate .html files. There are themes out there (such as VPixel Themes) that create all elements within the theme.php file.

Goto you root install that has folders in it such as images, includes, language, modules, etc., and you will find a themes folder.

Within the themes folder you will see both:

1. themes/yourthemename/header.html and
2. themes/yourthemename/theme.php

If the first file (themes/yourthemename/header.html) does not exist then all of your header information, including the topnav bar, are within your theme.php file.

Can't find info in theme.php file - 03-06-2007, 01:41 AM

I want to edit the top navbar on my site (It's just like yours Home-Download-Your Account-Forums) The theme is MSTrenches and I can't find the info in the theme.php file in the theme folder for mstrenches. There is no them.html file or folder that I can find. Where else might the file that I need to edit be?

Thanks

It won't be a theme.html folder, it will be a header.html file.
