Hi Guys, Please forgive me if this question is in the wrong section.
I'm new to phpnuke format ( an old msn victim here) lol, I have a problem, I have tried to create 3 new pages/modules for my group, for the life of me I can't do it, I've been reading all I can to see where I start. Do I need to upload a template or something? and do I need to get into my data base ? the person who created the group for me is admin... I only seem to be a super user, can I gain access with my present status?

Sorry, I'm having a little trouble understanding the question. Are you trying to create seperate pages with content on them linked from your modules?

Also, a super user has full site access so you should see everything that the admin account sees.

Are you logged in as a super user? http://www.yoursitename.com/admin.php

Hi Duke, Thanks for your reply, what I would like to do is add a Page / module of the left hand side, I don't want it link to anything( just want titels)....

I do log in as you say, but.... the guy that built the group for me only had me as a member at first, then he gave limited admin tools, when I asked him about it he told me to use his nick name and password, when I do that I am able to access the other admin tools, but I can't use all admin tools with one set of sign in details. so I'm back and forth signing in and out.I told him I need him to hand over full admin status to me ( I bought the two domain names< but on doing a " who is" search I see he is registered as the owner of them" can you have full admin statues in this case?

Ya sorry, I work nights so my hours are a bit off by compared to most other people.

If it's your site and your domain names, its in your best interest to take full control over everything. For the life of me, I can't figure out how your friend can have their name anywhere.

Also, tell your friend that you want your own admin login/password as a super user. There is also a "God" admin account that will also have a pre-assigned user/password combo so you'll want this info. as well.

Hi Duke, I have a password that gives me some access to admin, but not all the functions can be used, I get other functions with his password, (again not all), its as if he is worried about me getting all of them in the one password. He insists that he needs to be ( God Admin ). and his girlfriend is a super user ( his girlfriend is a member of my group on msn) I have only ever had a forum on msn before, and never had to fight for control of my own group.
The idea was I would move all my members over once the site was ready, but until I have the domains in my name and full admin statues I won't move my members over.
In the meantime I am struggling to create the dreaded 3 pages, all I want to do is add text to them.
