ported problems
you have to make sure when you make a theme for 6.5 that it matches your forum to. Nuke and the forum are one, thats the way fb designed it.
In the forum admin subsilver stays the same no matter what the theme you put up. It has to match. Ask mikem he can help you with that.

What Nuke theme are you using or wanting to use? If it is something you created yourself do you have all the images etc that you use with it?

if im not wrong i think you're looking for a theme pack solution. by using theme pack the forum displays your current theme style when only that theme is viewed. that hard part is you will need to make the forum side of the theme. if you're not sure on how to make a theme pack you can always use deepblue theme as reference.

em ya your right on my wanting a theme pack i have a couple loaded into the themes already, the thing is i have a theme i did and want to make the forum match it just the way the theme packs do and not have subsilver as the default,as far as i know deepblue is a default theme that relies on subsilver also ? correct me if im wrong unless someone has made a pack for deepblue.i suppose that i could d/l a theme pack and hack them up for what i need, just wasnt sure if it was something easy to do or not aparently its not easy to do,some instruction on how to match the forum for any themes i create would be much appreciated since im going to be doing more, obviously its doable since there are so many nice theme packs out there, let me in on the secret .oh by the way Mtechnik ive been to your site and like your work alot.

Hi, ok let me try, im usually bad at explaining. What i mean by using deepblue as reference is that deepblue is an example theme pack, meaning instead of having to install the template by going to phpbb admin panel, the theme is layed out like this themes/Deepblue/forums. So the quick way to do this, copy the foums folder in deepblue, paste it into your own theme so it should look like this themes/Yourtheme/forums. Once you done that, you would need to go through every file in the forums folder that contains

Code:
themes/DeepBlue/forums/
and change it to

Code:
themes/YOURTHEME/forums/
this can be easy if you're using a text editor such as Ultraedit, or editplus etc. by using the search and replace function. after you edit all the files, upload it try going to forums with your current theme, if all paths are edited correctly, then you should see subsilver. From there you can start changing the style and images to match your theme.

oh and thanks, about your last comment =)
