How do they do it? Is it javascript?

This is what it does: When a website like overclockers updates their news, another person's personal website automatically updates with the news that icrontic updates. Therefore, if icrontic update their news, the personal website also update the news as well.
This lead to the same news and message shown on the personal website.

How is that done?

I am planing to make a forum. and do that to website news section. Something like this person's website did: http://gotmalk.faerie-tale.net/main/go/

Take a look at his forum. It's the same message as his news section.

It's a very good idea in my opinion. I want it to be on my site like that with more. Both forum and news to the news section on my personal website.

hmm..so you're saying you want to pull the News items from another website to display on your site?

Or are you wanting to post a topic in your Forum and have it show up on your main page as a topic to discuss?

do you want to display another sites news as your own news? as in, the center news and not the news topics in a block?

Yes, I was meaning both the news and the topics in forums in the center block of the "home" page.

Well he is using different software (Edgeboard) so you can't quite duplicate what he is doing.
What theme are you using with your PHPbb2.06/Nuke6.0 site? There are similar hacks for our portal, but they are developed for certain themes, and you may need a special one.
