Darkblue 6.5 Theme
Hi there ,

I recently installed the Darkblue theme for nuke 6.5. However the forum remains in its default theme (subsilver?). I know from using phpbb before that you use to have to install new themes and I have looked at this, but as far as its concerned there are no additional themes to install .

Any ideas anyone?

An Addition
Sorry, forgot to mention that some of it does appear to have changed :? (i.e. the text colour is barely visible as its white (darkblue) on a grey (subsilver) background)

If you dont get what I mean just go to www.clan-thx.co.uk and click on the forums link.

Cheers

Installation error.

All you do in Nuke 6.5 is download one of our Nuke6.5 theme packs.
For example, you got DarkBlue.
There should be a themes/Darkblue fodler.
Take that DarkBlue folder and upload it as-is to your themes folder on your FTP. There is no need to add any template in the Forums as we used to do with Nuke6.0 with Tom's port.

The theme should work then.

Also, I just checked your site, and that is not the 6.5 theme pack for DarkBlue as far as I can tell. The logo is NOT the same one that is in the Nuke6.5 DarkBlue theme pack.

Well, it sounds like I've installed it correctly but I will try again. I've never used any other version of Nuke other than 6.5 so I wouldnt know about templates in v6.0.

As for it not being darkblue 6.5, I downloaded it from this website so seems a little odd its not the right one.

?
Well, I'm a little confused as to why it didnt work previously. However, after numerous attempts at re-installing the theme I gutted my website and started from scratch and it now seems to be working fine.

I have one other question, apologies if it comes across as n00bish, but thats exactly what I am.

Where do you put the forum centreblock file?

Cheers for the help,

Jackal

on your FTP you should now have a folder calld blocks.
Upload it to that folder.
Then go to your Nuke Administration page. Blocks.
Towards the bottom of that page is where you add blocks. Give it a name and then it SHOULD be selectable from the Drop down Menu list.
Set it to be in the Center Up position

Submit or Save changes and it should now be showing.
