Error installing fiapple Theme (Nuke6.0 and 6.5) - 02-20-2003, 04:41 PM

Hi everyone, I'm from Brazil... Please, help me find out what`s wrong, here is what is going on:

I try to install fiapple theme on phpnuke 6.0 and 6.5 and I get an error:

6.0 (shows nothing except the error):

Warning : open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/restricted/home/guarapas/public_html/html/header.php on line 31

Warning : Failed opening 'themes/fiapple/theme.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/share/php/PEAR') in /home/restricted/home/guarapas/public_html/html/header.php on line 31

Fatal error : Call to undefined function: themeheader() in /home/restricted/home/guarapas/public_html/html/header.php on line 47

6.5 (shows part of the fiapple theme but with errors):

Something like "Parse error: parse error in /somewhere/
More than 5 lines with the same error

Now the strange thing is that I got it working on Lycos and on my Intranet (MacOS X Jaguar 10.2.3):

http://members.lycos.co.uk/guarapas/nuke/html/

PLEASE HELP !!!!!

Be sure you have the correct theme for the correct version or phpnuke, and that the directory paths are all correct, and that all the directories do exist and contain the files that should be in them.

Well, I'll check again but it's probably not the problem, since it's working fine on my local web server and on Lycos too... BTW nice avatar

Like Martin said..it is definately a directory problem. Something is not where it is supposed to be or the paths to your nuke are not set right in preferences.
Has to be a path issue.

hummm... pretty strange ! Maybe I have to set a different path, to make the theme work on that host, the problem is I have no idea how to do that, and why is the default(deep blue) theme working ? And why the fiapple theme is working on other hosts ? I know is defenetly a problem at my web host, now, what can I do to fix it I don't know !

2 :?:'s:
1. Have you contacted your web host?
2. Can you post a link to the site you have the problem with?

Make that 3 questions:
3. How is it that you have 2 versions of nuke together?

Martin, thank you for all the help, I have contacted my web host and I'm waiting for an answer.

Here is the link: http://www.guarapas.com.br/html/admin.php
Login: Administrator
Password: nuke0123

Since there is nothing important over there you can do wathever you want, try change the theme to fiapple and you'll see the error.

I don't have 2 versions together, I have one at Lycos (no problems), one on my computer (OSX Jaguar 10.2.4+Apache+PHP+MySQL - no problems either) and the one that is having problems - Locaweb - my official host where my domain(guarapas.com.br) is hosted.

Check in your php ini file to see if safe mode is turned on. Your error reflects that it is. Turn it off.

My last post will probably not solve it.

That problem seems to be related to php it's self and needs to be upgraded to the newest version by your web host. It has to do with a combination of factors including the type OS used by the web server (that is why it works for you on other machines). The bug is supposedly fixed in the newest version of PHP. :!: If your web host does not upgrade I would suggest switching hosts.

After switchin themes on your site and getting the error, I went back a page and tried to log out, all I got was the error message again. You may not even be able to get back in to your site. Your host definately needs to upgrade PHP
NOW!!

thanks marting... odd situation I got here, the PHP version on my OSX is older than the version on my web host (4.2.2) they're using Linux as OS.

I just changed the database so I got the site with the DeepBlue theme working again. This web host is the biggest in Brazil, I'm interacting with them via help desk and I'll wait for a solution, I don't wanna migrate to another host... but I don't if I'll have any option in the end.
