Morning All,

I downloaded the fiapple theme from here and cant figure out why the little News Image dissappears after you post a news artical. It was there when I previewed what I had wrote and also when viewed as the administrator. Please see the only artical on the main page to see the missing image. If you right click and choose properties you will see that it is not pointing to an image. http://www.canadadj.ca

Oh and before anyone asks, yes the required image is there in it's proper folder.

OK, the other questions would be, did you change anything? Did you add WYSIWYG editor? Any other news mods? Was the image showing before you swithced to fiapple, or had you not tested it prior to fiapple?

Yes, but did you ever use the module before you set fiapple as you theme? That is what I asked you. And was it working before. I need to know if it is theme related or nuke related.

no, i never used the News before. I am install another theme right now just to make sure that it is not theme related.

Download this file, it's the default submit news module, unzip and upload to your html/modules folder and try it again.
Download
Rename your existing submit news folder first.

no change after uploading new news module.

I really have no idea what is causing the problems. The picture is there when I preview the news.

When I view the submission as the admin, the image is no longer there.

I just noticed something strange about your site. When I right click and try to view source I get a noframes html source. Not sure if it has anything to do with it but it is weird. Send a PM to Mikem and when he gets back he can help more. Tell him what you have allready done. I personally don't know any more about it.

I fixed it,

well not really but almost.

I noticed that my only topic was the phpnuke and using that image with the bomb. I checked the topics folder and my missing image was located in that folder along with the phpnuke image. I deleted the bomb and renamed the alltopics image to phpnuke and low and behold I had images again. I do however find it really strange that when adding a new topic, the phpnuke is the only image in the dropdown box even when there are 3 or 4 in that folder.
