Fiblack and subBlack problem
well I messed something up. I installed your fiblack theme and it worked fine until I installed the subBlack theme. When I installed the subBlack and made it my default for some reason I can't change the admin settings on my forum. Its funny actually, the default style in the forum says it is fiblack, but it is subBlack. so what I think happened is the theme table got messed up. Anyway when I try to add subBlack style back to the forum it does now show up. wierd. I tried reinstalling both themes and just the subBlack but same effect. is there a way to add the subBlack table so I can choose it in the forum config? Man I even confused myself . lol hopefully you understand what I mean.

6.5

Hmm strange I did a fresh install of 6.5 made new tables and something strange is happening when I go into subBlack ppbb2 admin area is has the fiblack admin screen. fiblack is not even installed anymore lol. I can make changes to the forum, but I cant make myself or anyone else a moderator or admin for the forum. I try and redo it fresh again.

I see that subBlack has a totally different setup than other themes. Im assuming subBlack cannot be used as a back up theme?

I'm confused.
ALL of your Nuke6.5 theme packs DO not include the Forum temaplte for the Forum Administraiton. You must use subSilver that is shipped with PHP-Nuke6.5 as your default Forum style at all times. This setting should never be changed.
The phpBB template(styles) for the theme packs have been moved to within the theme's folder.

ok After reinstalling everything Its now back to subsilver admin area, but I still can't make myself or anyone else an admin on the forum. So I tried to make someone else a moderator on all the forums and I received this error.

Couldn't delete auth access info

DEBUG MODE

SQL Error : 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'AND auth_mod = 0' at line 3

DELETE FROM nuke_bbauth_access WHERE group_id = AND auth_mod = 0

Line : 175
File : /home/theadvoc/public_html/battletech/modules/Forums/admin/admin_ug_auth.php

Strange Nothing has been changed except the icons on the forum were changed.

My own stupidity was the problem lol. I was trying to change the icon images on the subblack forum with the ones from fiblack and that is what caused it. I must have accidently dragged more than just the folder icons. O well you don't learn if you don't experiment with it huh?

Hey I have a couple of new probs when one of my admin members try to post in the admin area only forum they get this error. They can read in it fine.

Quote:
"When i go to post in the administrators area i noticed a big white box below my text box
labeld Topic Review heres the error message thats in it .

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: opentable() in /home/theadvoc/public_html/battletech/mainfile.php on line 236 "
This doesnt happen to me when I post in it.

The other one is invalid_session errors pop up every once in a while when you try to post. What causes that?

already.
There have been a few discussions on possible solutions already.
Here on this site and at nukecops and phpnuke.org

As for your first problem with the error when your admin tries to do a post in an Administrator's area. I haven't seen that one before :?

maybe someone else has

Hey mikem Thanks for the help I can see my your tone your getting kinda aggrievated. So I'll try and work on this on my own. I have tried those supposed fixes on the other sites to no avail. I have noticed the flood delay helped a little, I increased it and that error doesnt happen as much. Now the only one who gets it is the one who in using AOL. Anyway again thanks for all your help.
