fiblack3d forum errors with 6.9.1 - 11-07-2004, 10:44 PM

Hi all, you guys rock!!! I'm just learning how to work with my site. I loaded fiblack3d Theme pack and I get these errors when I try to edit or view the forums page... I downloaded a new zip of the theme and they are missing there also.

Thanks
-Silent

you need to add those *.tpl files to the
themes/fiblack3d/forums folder

You have the Glance mod and Attachment mods right, then do as I stated above.

Those *.tpl files "should have" came with those mods/addons.

Thanks Mikem, when this is all said and done I'll have to build a shrine to Mikem on the site

So I added the files and the forums appeared, but when I tried to create and such it would give other errors and say other files were missing. I seems that a number of files are missing from the themes so I had to copy all the forum files from Platinum theme and overlay the mod theme to figure out which ones where missing. That got it working 8) I had to do this for SubBlack and fiBlack3D, is it normal for the themes to be missing those files?

yes. No theme contains addons and mods files. Those additional *.tpls files are just that, additional files that need added if you use the MODS or ADDONS associated with them.

Are these MODS and ADDONS here somewhere to be downloaded or did I do it right be copying them from the Platinum theme and adding them to the pack?

There are no addons available here per-say, however you can find most of them at portedmods.com

Copying the *.tpl files from one of the Nuke Platinum themes should be ok.
If you used a default install of PHP-Nuke, then you wouldn;t have had to add all those tpl files. But since you opted for the Nuke Platinum, it had mods added to it already.

Thanks for all the info mikem. I seems to be working ok, but decided to use the platinum theme till I learn more about how the system works. When I added a news item to the main page this error appears above it ouside of the block:

Warning: usort(): Invalid comparison function. in /hsphere/local/home/silentpr/siegehammer.com/siegenuke/html/modules/ForumNews/bbstuff.php on line 317

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

you really need to ask the Platinum devlopers at their site about that.
I really don't know much about it and what addons and mods it has already in it.

ok, let's give a quick description to fix all your problems!
1. In PHP Nuke Platinum (PNP) there are alot of mods preinstalled, you can find them all on http://www.portedmods.com as a seperate download
2. In the PNP package there is a file included that tells you what modification thata are needed to make to all new themes you add
3. The invalid comparison thing is due to forumnews being incorrectly coded (my fault, excuse me ) the fix can be found on http://www.techgfx.com and http://www.portedmods.com
4. All other questions regarding to PNP => http://www.techgfx.com
