I have downloaded and sucessfully installed the fiblack3d pack from this site. Works great and I love the way it works!

One issue, I cannot assign any topic images to news or make any new topics with images.

Upon researching, its a theme dependent variable defined in theme.php usually around the function themeindex()

I looked and $topicimage is referred to in there a few times but never defined.
A view of the source of a posted article reveals this is what the code is trying to link my images as: <img src=""

However,
I am not a PHP expert, how do I define the topic image directory?

I find as easier to get round this is to go into Admin, then topics, you can sort the problem out here by looking at the url of where the current topic images are and uploading them to that directory.

Then go back and edit your news story or whatever and select what topic it relates to, this will get rid of the red cross and bring up your newly uploaded image.
