fisubsilver shadow theme
Hi !
Thx for a lovely theme it's just fantastic, i used to use this theme for a standalone phpbb2 and now that its converted to phpnuke it's like my dreams come true

hm i just wanted some help about removing the borders on the extremes of each page - i managed to remove them from the index and most pages except the forum page by editing this :
Quote:
* The content of the posts (body of text) */
body{background:#ecf0f6;color:#000000;font:12px Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;margin:6px
and changing the final bit to margin:0 in the style.css file

This removes the margin from all pages except the forums how do i remove it from the forum too? i tried editing the forum.css with the same change but to no effect.....

oh another thing.. how can i change the background colour of the boxes in which the My Account buttons /Administration system/Login/ etc are & all those other boxes which currently have a white background colour.... i want the boxes to be filled in with a lovely light blue background like the main menu is

THX for any help u can give me ! & once again for the lovely theme! its the best !

overall_header.tpl
That should help you
For the margins

The bgcolor of the "boxes", tables, where the Your Account images an Admin images are would be in the tables.php file

I also have a few questions on this there as well.

1. logo.gif goes into fisubsilversh\images right? I put it in there and it will not show up for me...I have done this with plenty of othr themes, and I am not quite sure what the deal is.. (logo.gif) is the name of the file.

2. I really like the "icon_mini_menu.gif" and the "icon_mini_folder.gif" graphics. I saw what they looked like in the preview picture of the theme. I would like to use them too, but I cant figure out where to put them. Do I have to edit a .php file to make them work?

Thank you

Yes logo.gif goes in images/logo.gif. Does the phpnuke logo show up, a blank one, or is the image x'd out?

If you have tried to upload a new image that contains your logo, then log off your site, close all the windows, and dump your cookies and temp int files. It might just be a caching issue.

Are you taking the images from one theme and adding them to another theme? You shouldn't have to put them anywhere if you are using the theme as a package. As long as when you upload them you maintain the folder structure everything should work right.

Well I downloaded the package from the themes section of this forum. I then uploaded it to my FTP. By default, in this package, there is no logo.gif file. There is a blank logo.gif included in the extra's folder. I took that file and added my logo to it and saved it. Then uploaded it, but still no show. I have clearded the cache and this works with my other themes, as I do this all day long. It is almost like the code that tells the page to look for that image in the header is not there....I am a PHPnoob, so I couldnt verify this.

There is no X, (placemarker) for where the ,gif is supposed to be.

Now the other 2 files are in the ectra grafix folder as well. They are images that appear next to the links in the moduals box. If you look at the fissubsilver image you will see them

Here is the page http://www.nukemods.com/modules.php?...ew_pho to.php

In themes\fisubsilversh\forums\images there is a logo.gif that matches the rest of the theme. Ftp a copy of that image over to \images\

If you have already done that and it still isn't doing what you want it to do can you give me a link please so I can see exactly what the problem is.

Where do you want to use the other images? If you want to use the menu one in your menu, then you need to modify that coding to put an image in there, or write your own main menu like here at nukemods.

If you want to use them somewhere else rename them to overwrite the image that you want to replace.

I will re FTP the theme to my site this evening and give it another whirl

As for the .gif's in the menu, yes, just like the ones here. I thought there awas an easier way to fo it, but I guess I need to put the images in a directory on my site, and then alter the code... Tho I have no idea which file that would be, or the string in that file that I would need to edit.

The URL to my site is www.bloodrave.com
Keep in mind, that it is under construction...lol, and that I have bnot reloaded the fissubsilver shadow theme again as of yet.

Thanks for the link.

I figured out the header image issue.
In most themes, it pulls the header image from /theme/image/logo.gif
This is not the case with this theme.
It looks into theme/forums/images/logo.jpg

A totally different directory, and image type.
I just changed the extension of my image and put it in the proper directory, and now it works like a champ.

Now, off to the link that you sent me....
