Green Moderator color bottom of Forum Index page - 07-24-2003, 02:04 AM

You will notice at the bottom of the Forum Index page for dark background themes such as the one on NukeMods at the moment (Under Construction), that the word Moderator in green is hard to read.

I believe the colour to be #006600. The only place I have found it in the themepack is style.css. Changing this to a lighter color doesn't work, it still comes up green.

Anyone know where I have to make the change(s) please?

Thanks,
Ron....

Thanks for your reply, Mighty_Y.

I have changed the subSilver files subSilver.css and theme_info.cfg .
Also forums.css and style.css in the theme package.

Now I have done a search on the complete Nuke65 file package and the theme pack (VereorLCAR) and there is no 006600.

Here is the source code after making all the changes:

[ <span style="color:#FFA34F">Administrator</span> ] [ <span style="color:#006600">Moderator</span>
]

Registered Users: None

Most users ever online was 4 on Thu May 22, 2003 8:08 pm
</span></td>
Just where is it picking up that color?

Regards,
Ron..

I din't meant any changes in files but in the database:
go into forumadmin, then Styles Admin management click on edit
subsilver and then Font Colour 2.
Edit that and your set

Mighty...This can actually be considered a small bug I think. The font color shouldn't be controlled by the subSilver template anymore. At least it should only be affected in the Admin area of the Forums.

Then it shall be , but I'm sure it should be changed like that. I did so on portedmods.

That did it. Thank you. You never stop learning with phpnuke/phpbb do you? You start to think you're getting a handle on them and then a thing like this, which should be relatively simple, stumps you. I would never have thought of looking in the database, only in the code.

Thanks once again,
Ron...

Right, but the theme_info.cfg for each template should be controlling that feature. Not subSilvers.

I'm gonna see what I can do about it.
What else is overriding the style in those settings on the Forums tempalte?
