Help!! Changed theme, now I just get an error - 07-16-2004, 12:55 PM

Hi there,

I'm very new to postnuke. I've been playing around with it to get it how I like it. I finally got everything how I wanted it, then I went to change my theme just to see if it would look better than my current one, and now when I try to access my site all I get is this: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: public_message() in /usr/local/4admin/apache/vhosts/rutherfordcorner.com/httpdocs/nuke/html/themes/Elektro/theme.php on line 141

When I opened theme.php line 141 just says: $public_msg = public_message();

I don't know what the heck I'm supposed to do now! I was using your helius theme with no problems, then I downloaded the Elektro and tried to change to it and that's when I got the above error.

My postnuke site is http://www.rutherfordcorner.com/nuke/html/index.php It's hosted through webmasters.com and I've been using MS Frontpage for editing it. Basically because my website up until now has been just HTML, which I'm pretty good at, but this php stuff is new to me! I just installed Dreamweaver, which I'm told is better for editing php stuff.

Anyway, sorry if I've given you way to much info. I'd really appreciate any help I can get. I'm hoping I don't have to uninstall/reinstall to fix this!

Thanks so much for reading this!

Heather

I can tell you two things:
- these themes are made for phpnuke (not postnuke) but you can adjust them to get them work with postnuke but we can't give support with that
- in postnuke the function public_message() doesn't exists, that's why that error is there

Thank you so much!! I just deleted line 141 and was able to get to my admin settings to switch back to the helius theme. I'm so new to postnuke I keep forgetting their are different types, php...etc...

Thanks again!!

Heather
