I'm looking to transition an old html-only site to phpNuke and would like to use the XPMidnight theme. However, I would like to change the background under the right-side blocks from white to blue, matching the left-hand blocks. Also, upon closer instection it seems that the spacing between the left-hand blocks and center block is different than the spacing between the right-hand blocks and the center block, and I'm thinking it'd look a little strange unless I fixed the spacing as well.

So can anyone tell me if it's even worth trying to monkey with this theme, or am I better off looking for something else? Or does anyone want to help me modify the theme slightly (or, more specifically, coach me, since my php experience is somewhat limited, but I'm always willing to learn...) ?
