"new posts" indicator graphic disappears
Hello,

I tried searching for this issue but was unable to find anything on this. I have the Charcoal2 theme pack and it works and looks great!

My problem is that when anyone first logs into the forums each area with new posts indicates the new posts with the little red graphic (folder_new.gif). But if they then click on any of the forum areas which have new posts there is no indication inside the forum which message is new (minor detail). But more importantly if they head back to the main forum listing all the other boards that HAD new posts in them have changed over to the "no new posts" gif.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your time.

Help was much appreciated Coldblooded!

Would you happen to know which (and where) files in this theme are the ones i need to edit if

1. I want to make changes to the "delete this topic", "move this topic" etc...?
2. Change the default avatar for guests and unregistered people?

Thank you.

hehe, it will. Not sure why those aren't the default settings, that takes care of the issue on every site I've setup.

It seems to have done the trick on that site, thanks.

Here I thought I was looking at potential db related problems :? It never even occurred to me that it may be a cookie issue. ops:
