The orange them is the only theme with the "jump to topic search" at the top. I'm trying to put this in a modified emarald theme but every topic I select sends me to:
http://site.com/modules.php?name=News&new_topic
instead of:
http://site.com/modules.php?name=News&new_topic=#

This is the code out of the html file to put the Topic Jump Box in:
<form action="modules.php?name=News&new_topic" method="post">Topics <font class="gensmall">$topics_list</font></form>

And ideas what my problem is?

What is the name of the orange theme you are talking about please.

I think he is talking about OUR Orange theme pack we have.

I'm not sure what Jump to topic search box he's telking about.

That's what confused me. The only "Jump to:" box I know of is at the bottom of the page, but I don't have that theme pack :?

Ahh yes he is talking about the Search/ Topic drop down at the top left of the Orange theme. Some other themes have this. Most of ours don't
There are some topic queries in the theme.php that would need transfered over to your modified Emerald theme. Look there in the Orange theme.php file for references to topiclist etc.

yes - i was talking about the drop down option at the top (like the search option). I thought it was supposed to take you to the search screen for that specific group. When I copied over the above code (in my first post) it always takes me to the same topic.

Ok, well if that is the case, then simply copying over the code for that <form> may not work. There are some sql queries in the theme header function in the theme.php that will also need to be moved over. As well as some globals too possibly. I haven't looked lately to be sure, but definately my guess.
