First of all I really want to thank you guys for all the work you have put into the theme packs. They are great and as a newbie with no PHP knowledge I have had no trouble getting my Nuke/BB2 sites up and running.

Now for the but! I didn't realise how many users I had who use an 800X600 screen resolution and hate horizontal scroll bars: I got lots of complaints today when I went live with one site. I really like the two theme packs I am using (Olivia and Shagadelic) and don't want to have to drop them. Is there any way I can get around this without major hacks as my PHP knowledge is a big zero?

Are you users complaining of Scroll bars ONLY in the Forums?
The reason we generally will not have scroll bars here in our Forums is because we have eliminated the left blocks from Nuke displaying when you enter the Forums. That could be an option for you as well.
The maker of those themes you mentioned is

You may want to visit his site and let him know in his Forums the issue you are having if you dont' want to use the option of removing the left blocks. We really don't mess too much with other developers themes.

I'm viewed your site at 800x600 and i think the problem lies with the navigation bar at the top. you'll probably have to narrow down the "user menu", "downloads", etc buttons.

Thanks for your replies. I will leave a message on the pixdesign site as I am now told the sites do not show up, except for the background, with Netscape 4.x which around 10% of my users use.

I will also look at shortening the nav bar.
