xp midnight broken layout - need some assistance please
Hi all, first of all let me say great site.

I have just downloaded the xp midnight template and modified the colors, I initially had the right block not appearing problem but I found a fix and applied it. It was only a small adjustment to the xpmidnight theme php - perhaps I need to add something else??? I read the threads below and tried to find some of the other files in the read me - but no luck.

They right blocks show up fine - however when using a resolution lower than 1280x1024 the layout gets broken. I have a picture of what I mean taken at 1024x768. Check the lower right corner.

Using indonesia PHP-Nuke-7.9.0.3.2-SE -

There is also a small problem with the spacing between the left blocks and the center articles -

If anyone can assist me to fix these errors and possibly mod a few things I am happy to work something out paypal wise.

Thanks for taking the time to read. The site can be found here www.hellenicsquadron.com

Hmmmm thanks for taking a look, I have used 3 browsers and all have the broken layout that requires moving the scroll bar left and right.

Blocks display on right no problem it just that on the lower res the theme does not compress in as it is supposed to and you have to use the scroll bar to go full right.

Thanks for your files, I tried them but unfortunately I have the same problem. The answer must be in one of the nukephp files - any other ideas?

I beleive the problem is in one of your html files such as header.html , story_home.html and such. I was tweaking some things on one of my sites and re-created the same problem but reverting to my backup files fixed it.

The only file I have modded is the logo. Its not the same size as the original.

I replaced it with the original and the same problem occurs.

If your site is that new I would re-intall everything. What version of nuke are you running?

*edit*
I see you're running 7.9. The latest reccommended version is 7.6. You'll have alot less problems in the long run.

Well we are about a two months old, but our site is pretty packed already. So going to another version is not an option. certainly not for a modified theme.php.

I have not noticed any problems whatsoever except for the right blocks which took 2 secs to fix and this small layout bug. I am sure its just a couple of lines somewhere. Not worth it for me to toss everything.
