Well, I'm using phpNuke 7.6 for the main site and just phpBB 2.0.12 for the forums. (I have the forums disconnected and running on a seperate database.)

What is EVERYDAY TRICKSTER all about?
Is anyone here familiar with the Trickster concept? The trickster is a god or demi-god that plays tricks. Like Loki, Coyote, Anasasi, etc. He is also known for helping mankind. Like Prometheus, who stole fire from the gods and gave it to man. He also challenges man, usually through tricks, to better himself. Some of his tricks are light hearted and some are very dark and deadly.
The basic idea behind EVERYDAY TRICKSTER is that everyday we are tested. Things happen to us that have the potential to change who we are and what we think. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse.
The philosophy section has pages of information and stories and things to make you think and ponder.
The humour section is basically just humour.
The stories section has stories that deal with change. Alice in Wonderland - She learns to think for herself and to put herself first. It is a story about transition from childhood to adulthood. A Christmas Carol - Definitely a transition story, From greedy miser to jovial benefactor. Hiawatha - there is a trickster in this story. The Kalevala - also has a trickster present. Robin Hood - going from being an Earl to being an outlaw. A definite change. It seems, at first to be a change for the worse. Later we see that it is a change for the better.
All these stories deal with some type of change.
The above is something like what I'd like to see on the home page, but it needs to be polished.
Would changing the name of the site be helpful? If so, what to? If not, then what needs to be done to better promote the site? I'm not looking for Google ranking. Nor am I looking to sell anything. I just want people to visit it and look around. If they like what they see, I hope they will come back or at least tell their friends. If they don't like what they see, I'd like to know why and figure out how to fix it.
Any suggestions on a theme change would also be welcome. I kinda like the current one, but something more like a book or library would be welcome too.
