Got a PM from "Waters" suggested I look into a new logo. Anyway, if you have time feel free.

1. Phrases: LooseSniper

2. Font: Perhaps some form of Grunge/Techno font I suppose.

3. Colors: Background color I would like to be the same as the page, which is (#576972). As for the font color, white will do.

4. Style: I was thinking perhaps of having the background color just a solid color as I mentioned above (#576972), then maybe have just black flames fading into the white logo.

5. Border: None.

6. Animation: None.

7. Dislikes: I do not want a background image. Just the solid color.

8. Image Preference: Maybe flames which look like this: http://www.lettertech.com/images/200...1%20FLAMES.jpg

9. Size: The MAXIMUM height is 90px while the width could be anywhere from 250px to about 500px.

I don't really know if there's a lot you can do with that small area but I can tell you, the flames will likely look pretty cheezy.

Would it be better if maybe you had some text and possibly an image of a sniper zooming in on a target? Since snipers lay prone, you could prolly keep the banner itself pretty small.

Anyway, I browsed your forums quickly but had some trouble determining what the focus of the site actually is. Any chance you can elaborate on what your sites theme and basic premise is?

lol. Sites theme and premise? You know, i dont really know. My site doesnt really have a theme or meaning. Its just a personal website with... stuff in it. People use my site mainly because it allows them to play games at my school where normally there are blocked. I called the site LooseSniper because that is my screen alias...I couldnt think of anything else. Its the name I usually call myself. I wish I could think of a new name for my site as LooseSniper doesnt really seem great. But im terrible at coming up with names. Come to think of it, got any suggestions for a site name? Anyway, but i agree, flames will probably look cheesy, but I just need a logo. I mean, its a bit boring... I have a logo like you described. The sniper zooming in on a target, however, I didnt make it for this theme. I still have the .png, but I dont think I want to use that logo though. Yea, so basically its just a personal website with games, (I want to create a huge game section hence the "Add a Game" feature) and stuff. I also provide file hosting and tutorials (Im in the proocess of writing more). However, you must become a member to access a lot of the stuff. But, as i mentioned before, I think what my site really needs is a new name. Think you would be able to help me out with that?

I don't know, I can give it a try I guess.

Essentially, you have to figure out exactly what the focus of your site will be and come up with an easy to remember and well keywored name that happens to be as short as possible.

Creating a name for your site does you no good if it's too complicated, hard to remember, or spelled in a way that can lead to mistakes when searching for it. You also want the search engines to have an easy time indexing as high as possible for your keyword search so give it a lot of thought.

A few names for some of my sites, took me up to a month to come up with and were singled out from a list of hundreds of possible names. I suggest you take a long, hard, look into what you want to offer and what the main focus of your site will be, then, and only then, are you ready to think up names.

I dont mean to be rude or anthing, but its not bad. I mean, I like it, however there are 2 things that might be a problem. 1) never realized this, but 500px is too big. Could you possibly make it 250x90. And 2) if i were to place that as the banner, it would look great except for the right side. Because it doesnt stretch the entire width of the theme, it would look as if i just got cut off. Would you possibly be able to fade the right side into the background color or maybe continue it and finish it off (if that makes sense). Thanks again, and sorry to be rude or ungrateful or anything. Thats not what i mean to do.

EDIT: I just added it to the theme. REALLY dont mean to be rude, but it doesnt look very good.

Thats PERFECT! Although, i've decided to make some changes. Would you please be able to do that exact same logo, except with a height of 100px and a width of 850px. I hate to keep bothering you, but if you could PLEASE make that image the height and width i mentioned above, i would be VERY grateful. Sorry again to keep bothering you like this :P.
