What software do you guys use to make logos mostly?

mikem is fond of fireworks (they have a demo version available for download), I use Photoshop (demo link there also), though they're a pretty expensive purchase if you're not going to use them for work also.

Paint Shop Pro is a great one, and is reasonably priced. There is a demo available for download as well.

I am still looking for someone the throw a logo my way however....

Here is one I just finished for a site and in the forum logos for laughs you will see others i did and responses from satisfied people. All I ask is link from site somewhere a banner etc or link link or a small donation in my donations section. I do these for free though and love it.
