As you provide a such great service here, I would also like to aske for helping me out with a logo.

I've choosen the shakedelic-theme.
The site name will be: www.elgouna-waterski.com

As you can see, it's a page for a waterskischool. The school is located in elgouna--Egypt.

I would like to have the logo a bit smaller (so that it matches the nuke size on the upper left corner...it could be wider than it is now). Also, the logo should have that sea-star in it (in yellow?) and a nicer font. And not to forget the skier...or something else that suggest that it's a waterskischool-page. And I'm not satisfied with the current font!
What would look great is, when the sea-star is leaning out of the main logo with his "fingers"...sorry for my bad english :wink:

I started to try something out, but I'm not that good with the fotoshop...so any help would be greatly appriciated

What do you think: The logo should be able to be put on a car (white background). I think, that this logo is difficult to put on a car too, isn't it?
I mean, could you try to design a logo which is f.e. on a transparent background?

Would it be possible to make a logo whit the sea-star in it and some relation to waterskiing...in a, lets say, more comic-style?

Sorry, I didn't want you to design a logo to go on a car, but a logo for my page (which is a bit less realistic (the logo, I mean :wink ) that I could, if I have to, put on a car too.

So, I thought it would be easier to have a logo whit transparent background.

Would it be possible to get a logo in a more comic-style for my nuke site?

Just wanted to ask about another try :? I tryed some further logos on my own but, as I told you, I'm not that good with photoshop :?

I've red some docs about creating a logo. After that, the logo for the site should be simple and also look good with only one or two colors.

I looked around and have to say that:

a) you guys here are doing a great job
b) your logo is what I'm looking for :wink:

I thought that my logo should match the following needs:

content: elgouna-waterski.com
design: a nice, good readable font (such as yours), probably on two lines?
The logo should not be based on a photo (cause I would like to use it also for gear and stuff) and that's the reason why it should be as simple as possible and also be readable in only one or two colors.

I'm not sure if I should use the sea-star (but think that it would look great) and the skier or only one of them..

it would help me a lot if one of you could give me some ideas (I don't want you to spend too much time on that). I'm not sure if I should place the sea-star in front of the font or what...

Could you tell me how you did your font? Did you use a filter (3D) or what?
