Most themes don't give you .psd files. If a theme creator was to add .psd source files with the theme downloads, they'd likely see their bandwidth requirements double which means paying more for webhosting which is unreasonable given the themes are free.

Not many of the original themes come with PSDs or fonts. If they were in the original download, they would be in the theme packs.

If its a custom work job of course you don't. But if there mass skin like this why not? Its annoying as fuck. Also you gave out the .psd for Jenova. At least would you change the name for me?

I'm not sure why it's even an issue to be honest. Given all the tools in photoshop, it's easy to create your own layered .psd files for any theme you dl. Of course it may take you some time to create the first cell, button, animation but after that, it should be a breeze.

The fact is that it takes a tremendous amount of time to even create custom themes, beta test, bug track/fix, etc., prior to publishing. Then you have to offer support for that product if you want people to continue using your product.

As it is, themes can be sizey dl's so why would a person just add to their bandwidth draw by including large source files that maybe 1 in 100 or 1 in 1000 people would use? If you stop to think about it, it really makes no sense to include any source files.

Well would the person who made the skin At least change the text in it to help me out? I mean I am not trying to rip the skin. Leave your (c) in there.

I just grabbed the original phpbb theme, and there are no PSDs or fonts in the package. There are no logo PSDs, all mikem did is add "and PHP-Nuke" to the existing logos.
