I am looking for a theme pack to use on the nukefixes site, the one i am using right now has a few mismatches and while these can be fixed i am not a big fan of flash, previously i had used Santa Fe but it's a bit too dark in some areas, if anyone could suggest a theme pack that is easy to read when it comes to color combinations and font style/size but without being dull, site admins and moderators can start shooting and/or ban me after a few suggestions have been posted (if any). :P

I'm pretty fond of fisubsilver.

There is an update for it in progress, and I've got a few ideas that we could add. Let me know if you want any help with what you decide to go with.

After browsing through the gallery i'd say fisubsilver and Aeolus have more or less the look i want, i'll wait for either to come out, thanks for the suggestion.

Shew I dunno..definately need to get rid if the Flash theme..man those themes really slow a site down..You can see the drag when you simply try to scroll down..yeesh...

What about this Helius when it releases. It looks like a nice theme :roll:
There's also gonna be a Gray version of it that you may like...
Do you see any phpBB templates out there that catch your eye...we could always port something...

Checked the phpBB style demos at phpbb.com and don't like much of what's there, think i'll wait for the ones cold suggested or this one which i agree is a great style although it could look even better without the orange/yellow color

yeah and you could always modify these yellow/orange images to your liking... :-)

What about the themes over at pixdesign.ch? They're pretty easy to customize and clean.

I noticed they are now offering paid themes, usually when a site offers both paid and free software, the free software is limited and the support for it is also limited if it even exists, i only get my themes from nukemods because these people go way beyond what they should in order to help others, nothing wrong with pixdesign though, it's just that i'm a fan of the work done by the nukemods team.

ive taken and somewhat customized the PD2003 theme from pixdesign. its really clean but it works well. all depends on your taste though.

I will say I do like the skinner theme from pixdesign..probably one of their best IMO.
But of course, like chatserv, I am a little partial to nukemods :roll:
