I think you did a nice job on the breeze site buds but Bad HQ really needs either some caching or optimizing because even your old theme wasn't the quickest to load. I'd also suggest you get rid of the flash splash page because it really does your site no good and it's likely your visitors won't sit to watch that plain looking ticker count to 100.

Since it seems to be a BF 2 community, I'd suggest changing the splash page to a short, action intense, BF 2 video with a large, obvious, text link allowing users to skip past the page.
