Why would you go with a free host then pay to remove there advertising.

Theres alot of hosts out there that will give you a free domain for $5 a month.

You may have a difficult time attracting new membership unless you open up your forums to at least be viewed by the general public. Of course this assumes this is not already the case but after about 6 mouse clicks trying to find a forum discussion I gave up.

I'd also suggest you move the music player to a page that is not always accessed. The reason is it gets quite annoying navigating back to the main page and listening to the same 10 - 15 seconds of Apologize.

Whenever possible you have to keep in mind you have around 3 mouse clicks and 30 seconds to attract new users. Anyone who has to spend more time on your site to find anything to attract them will click through without bookmarking and likely never return.

Overall, the color combination is pretty good, the theme looks clean and aesthetically pleasing and your site loads quite fast. I would suggest moving the banner below the fold as well because it's quite intrusive where it is (either that or move to a sidebar).
