BonusNuke has launched BonusNuke CMS version 1.01
Details
We at BonusNuke have put together a package built from PHP Nuke version 7.6 with all the necessary patches to chatserv 3.1. The included forum PHPBB has been upgraded to version 2.0.17. Why these versions? Well they are the most stable and secure versions and you would find it quite difficult to find support on any version higher.
Our intention has been not to produce a unique version of nuke which is not compatible to the main stream version, but to produce a considerably modified version that contains addons from the best script coders within the Nuke Community. Our uniqueness is to give you a Nuke that already has most of the addons modules and hacks that most like added, saving you time and effort. The only thing you have to do is set the site up in a way that suits your needs. If for any reason you do not like any theme that is provided (which there are quite a few already to choose from), a theme edit guide will be provided to help you port any theme to work with BonusNuke. If there is demand for a particular theme we will endeavour to port the theme for you and make it available to download from this site.
BonusNuke has launched a multi-server hosting platform based on Plesk 8.0.0, FreeBSD 6.0, and IBM xSeries 366 Xeon MP powered machines.
Details
* SW-Soft Plesk 8.0.0 * RedHat Enterprise Linux AS 4.0 on web servers (10) * FreeBSD 6.0 on dedicated database servers (3) * FreeBSD 6.0 on dedicated DNS servers (5) * MySQL 4.1.18 and PostgreSQL 8.1 hosted exclusively on separate IBM xSeries eServer 360 Quad Xeon MP 2.0/2MB (3 nodes)*
Synopsis
Rather than the typical method of hosting all services, web, mail, dns, and database on one server, we have developed quite a costly but very powerful system using HSPcomplete in combination with Plesk Expand & Plesk 8, which allows multiple servers to function as a cluster. This system reduces overall system load, thus increasing performance and QoS.
In the past, one abusive user could generate problems which would affect proper server operation, as when load increases on a single server, services will begin to fail such as MySQL, QMail, and Apache. Load induced by one illegitimate activity against one website for example could easily result in total server outage, requiring extensive investigation to repair. This translates into the phenomenon known as downtime.
Surely, by dividing all server services amongst a dozen servers with distributed load on SQL databases, overall performance will be bounds greater than ever possible with a ‘all-in-one’ server scenario. In the past, as most other companies, BonusNuke provisioned individual servers such as ‘plesk3’ to host all normal web services, and 100% of these services were reliant on proper operation of one physical machine.
As any logical individual knows, hardware incidents as well as security incidents can happen, and when they do happen to a single machine, all services will be down until the issue is resolved.
Want a Nuke site without any hassles?. Anyone ordering hosting will have the option of having BonusNuke pre-installed.
