My forums are all jumbled up!
If you go to my site: www.ica-xavier.com and go to the forums section, you'd see a bunch of jumbled letters instead of what is supposed to be a message board.
You see I have already practiced on phpnuke (a little) on lycos.uk. One thing that frustrated me was the INVALID SESSIONS. So what I did was to search around and I came across this patch (fix 3 or something like that..). Now with a paid host, I tried to put in the 3 files from the patch that (I thought) pertained to the forums, sessions.php, constants.php, usercp_register.php. I overwritten the 3 already in my host with these 3 from the patch. The result was the jumbled letters. Now what I did was get the 3 said files from the phpnuke package - the one found when you download it from phpnuke.org and I replaced it but still the jumbled letters appear!
Is it still possible to fix this?

On a side note, I keep getting invalid sessions in THIS site as well!

Thanks in advance.

hmm I've seen a similar error when gzip compression option was on, do you have the option on? if you do try to turn it off.

GZIP Compression? Where do I find this?
Everything concerning my forums have become a disaster! Even in my admin page when I try to access my forum settings, it happens!

There's nothing I can do about that unfortunately. When I try to access my forum settings thru the admin page, something weird shows up, a blank page then a window that says, "Would you like to download index to your computer?" with options such as save, open, cancel, etc.

It's just so frustrating!!!

And to think that I have to log out then log in again whenever I post in this forum because of invalid sessions!

go into your database, browse the tabel nuke_bbconfig and look for gzip_compress, edit it and set it to 0. Then gzip is off

Pin a topic similar to this because I have met countless people with this problem including myself.
