whoa..I've never seen that before...
It may be a theme problem. Try switching to a different theme and see if it is ok then.

You know the really bizarre thing is if you click on the links on the repeated blocks, the menu appears on the left. I wonder if it has something to do with your java script.

When you navigate the rest of the site, the blocks stay on the right and not on the left as well. Did you change the coding to make the blocks be on the right?

I haven't seen it do that before either.

well what i've done...

i wanted that theme to have the blocks on the right, but on my other theme the left, obviously i wanted the same blocks on it though, and i wanted it on every page.

i've tryed with my other theme and it does the same thing!
although, its the Actuall blocks java menu that works this time when you click a menu down on either of them, i persume this is just because it works with whichever menu is higher up in the source code!

Thanks
James

Its because yow wanted it on opposite sides that you end up with two though. I'm not sure you can have it do that without doing some serious editing to the core coding of nuke.

why is it only with "Topics" i have a problem then? and the only place i have the problem is in each individual topic, e.g. the main Topics Page is fine.

I may look at changing how the topics page works anyway, i'll just try and work around it.

Cheers
James

I think the actual problem is with the way the java script interacts with the blocks. Normally under topics there are blocks on the right side of an article. Your script is telling it to put different blocks then the normal ones in one of your themes.

Normally when you decide to load a block you tell nuke to put it on the left or right or center through the admin cp. I don't believe you are doing that with yours because you have it set opposite for your seperate themes. So basically you tell the block go here, but the script tells it to go somewhere else. That is creating a conflict, basically confusing your server.

If you changed it and made it so that the blocks showed up on the same side for both themes and were set through admin cp, I bet the problem goes away.

You might want to check your html to see if any errors have been inserted there (sometimes happens instead of displaying the error), or try turning debugging on. It wouldn't suprise me if something shows up that was previously hidden.

But sureley if that was the case then it should be fine on my other theme, which is an older theme that i have used through the Older Nuke Versions.
