A-ight, I've been up and down the forums at least two dozen times and I've seen ALOT of topics on "Random Pics Blocks" but nothing I can find that actually lets you SELECT a pic to display in a Block each day.

I've been pondering on how to do this and the easiest way I can think of is just make a block with static HTML that links to a pic I want. This will work but that means editing the thing every day...

I was wondering if anyone has seen a block/module that will let you simply choose a pic from a dropdown list each day and be accessable from the Admin section. If the dropdown could show all pics in a given directory (Like Topics does) That would be PERFECT!

I'm a total newb when it comes to PHP so I'll apologize in advance :wink:

I am running a clansite for JediKnight II and would love to see a pic/Screenshot of the day block. It would be great if it could get the pics for the list from ANY directory (set up in admin section)

For instance: My nuke site is on sjm.psiron.net...

The site my users post screenshots to is files.psiron.net

It would be great If I could tell the block to generate it's list from a specific URL (Such as http://files.psiron.net/images/screenies/"

Has anyone out there seen anything like this? Could anyone throw something like this together?

If you use Gallery from Menalto, liek we do here, they have a few different types of Random Pic blocks.
