Forum width
The forum width changes according to the width that is coded in the respective theme's theme.php file.

Compare the "width" settings (e.g. 740, 850, 80% or whatever) for both of the themes.

If you look at the theme.php that is located in each theme dir, you can compare the settings.

Forum width is controlled by the overall_header.tpl file for the theme

themes/Yourtheme/forums/overall_header.tpl

sounds like a cache issue in IE.

When you refresh the page, hold your F5 key down. or try clearing your IE cache.

WHOA! 8O

must have something to do with removing the right blocks when viewing the Forums in that theme. It looks ok on the demo site with right blocks enabled in both IE and FF.

In the overall_footer.tpl file try this:

add this

Code:
</td></tr></table>
right after this
save a backup copy of that file or undo your changes if it does nothing.
