Need help installing coppermine1.1A module - 04-30-2003, 02:47 AM

Is there an easier way to install this module other than the installation instructions thats in the zip file? Not all of us rookies understand all that phpnuke "talk". :?

I haven't found one yet. If anyone does let me know too. The install text says it takes about 25 minutes. Took me a couple of hours. I must be really slow.

Another problem with coppermine, if you change your theme, it doesn't change with it. You will have to mod this yourself. That took me another 4 or 5 hours. Mostly because I really don't know what I am doing in the first place.

Lastly, if you are using nuke 6.5, download 1.1B and use that.

i'm at work right now, so I'm going by memory, but from what I remember, is, that you actually have to create a new directory under your modules folder on your server, rename the modules folder to Coppermine1.1b or whatever it is, upload it, and then you should be able to get it working. I don't remember exactly. I'm in the process of changing hosts, and when I do, I'm switching over to the Gallery 1.3.4, same one that NukeMods has.

I installed coppermine and I thought that it was pretty easy (and I know little about PHP) anyways is there a specific problem that you are having ?
