I had to reinstall two phpnuke 6.5 sites last week using restored databases.

I have only just discovered that when a member sends a private message a notification email is not being sent to the recipient.

Forum topic reply email notification is working fine.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Problem fixed by applying the 6.5 SecFix 3 patch from http://www.nukeresources.com.
