some newbie questions..
hey, i'm having some problems and ive been trying to solve them so i could really use some help

first of all , i have uploaded all images and all avatars etc to the right place and when i post a forum message there's a red x and the avatar wont load ,also when i click "Your_Acount" all of the icons have red x's and dont load ...

second, when i click anything in the Your_Acount it says "this module isnt active" or cant find that page , i checked the module and it says active, it wont let me view my info or change a theme ..what am i doing wrong? :?

third , in the home (main page) there's that "Welcome to PHP-nuke" andi i cant delete it no matter what i do , i looked everywhere in the Administration tools , and i also want to know how to post a new topic like that and how to change the php nuke icon on the side...

i know these are alot of question , and thanks alot for any help!

*note the / at the end of avatar storage path, if it isn't there, you can't upload.
here is my quote from another post. everything about directories is CasE SeNSItive and such. Everything myst be exact, w/ the correct '/'

To prevent the from happening, which i had happen, you must have the correct paths.

Make a gallery folder after avatars. Check the "F" in Forums, sometimes the path is lower case, but the folder itself is upper case. Make sure you chmod the actual folder avatars 777 (so your users can upload images if you allow it)

To get rid of that message on the front page. Go into your admin cp. Find the icon that says message. You can change, activate, deactivate that message in there, you don't actually have to delete it to shut it off.

Check the location of the files that should be in "your account" The entire folder and its contents should be under modules. If it looks like everything is there, then reupload the contents of that folder.

None of your images show up?

To check the path for your avs, login to admin, then click forums, then under general click configuration. Should be about 3/4 of the way down the page. There will be two paths listed there, one for the gallery and one for avs.
