add theme to forum adm panel

add theme to forum adm panel - 02-07-2008, 11:29 PM

I uploaded theme in Ftp core. How do i install it into the styles catergory inside the forum adm panel? Im using php-nuke.

You don't, nuke themes don't work that way.

They contain a forums dir in the main theme directory which must remain there, the forum theme then changes along with the nuke theme when a user selects it.

That is correct! As phpnuke is designed with directories for where the files must go. If you would like to add a new theme first you must make sure the folder is not zipped or compressed. Extract the folder to your Desktop then check the folder as it should contain the following:



After making sure all the necessary files are in the folder you must use a FTP client to transfer the files to your site. Follow the path commands provided below and you are sure to find the right directory..

public_html/themes/UPLOAD NEW THEME FOLDER .....

Once you get to the right place you will know. You will find other themes that were installed with your version pack...If this dont help please PM me and I will try to help you mitigate this issue...
