Blog Platform
I want to start a new online blog - but like everything now there is so much choice of blogging platforms.

Ones I have looked at are blogger, wordpress, Joomla, MSN Spaces.
Which blog software do you use and recommend? Are there any notable ones I have not mentioned that are worth a look?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each platform?

Thanks for your help.

Blog Platforms
Hello, I would suggest WordPress if you only wish to blog. The system is tight and I would dare say it is the 'PHP-Nuke' of the Blogosphere. Joomla! is real pretty and is a solid distribution. Forgive the vagueness, as I am currently consumed by everything PHP-Nuke.

For instance, I have hooked up my Nuke news with RSS feeds directed to Technorati...

http://www.technorati.com/blogs/http...2Fdadanuke.org

And recently to FeedBurner here...

Just some input. Lots of options out there and it can be confusing at times, I understand.

On a final Nuke comment, nukeSEO also has some wonderful tools for RSS/Social Networking with regards to PHP-Nuke.
