Hi i have phpnuke 6.5 and as you all know for downloads section you have to add a link to add it to downloads section...so i have to add what i want to my ftp then copy and paste url from my ftp into the url download to add it(kind of a pain)

what i am wanting to know is...if anyone knows of a mod for downloads that allows admins of my site to add downloads by being able to upload them..because i don't wanna give everyone that's admin on my site my user/pass for ftp access.

anyt help would be greatly appreciated

ok i tried this but all i get is errors when i try uploading a file...

and i am a bit confused as to what i am suppost to set the $uppath and$upbaseurl

i made a folder in root of my webhost called uploads so for the

$uppath i put "uploads/"

$upbaseurl "www.mysite.org/uploads/"

and i think this is somehow wrong. :cry:

i dunno but it shows those 3 errors at the top of page after i try and submit a upload

Check your absolute path and url path again to make sure they are correct.

absolute path might look like this www/www/uploads or www/public/uploads

It's probably easiest to check with your ftp client or control panel

ok so it will probably be more like this then

"www/public_html/uploads" << is what path is thru ftp

and url path would be like before

"http://www.mysite.com/uploads"

Another option you can try using nukestyles.com's enhanced downloads, it works wonders for me on my site, and i believe mikem also using it as well. From uploading files, adding description images to customizing the whole module.

ok thx alot for the help guys i got it working now and it works great!!

only 1 problem...when i go to remove a download..i can delete it on my site sure..but file is still on my hosts ftp.And when i log in my ftp to delete old downloads no longer listed on site..it says permission denied.I can't delete anything that has been uploaded.
