I have two sites, one running 7.6 and the other running 6.5, that I would like to convert to the absofreakinglutely lovely 7.6 Platinum. I've recently lost large chunks of these sites' files due to the worm, and figure this is as good a time as any to really upgrade! Sure, I have backups, but that's not the point .

How would I go about upgrading from 7.6? Besides manual application of NSN Groups, it's stock minus a few graphical changes, easily redone. The files don't matter as they're toast, but the db is stock 7.6 plus NSN Groups.

On what is probably the more complex issue, upgrading from 6.5. I've been slowly watching the numbers crawl their way to 7.0, and now 8.0. But 7.6 seemed good, and 7.6 Platinum is awesome. The files are heavily customized, but are mostly extra fields in the profile and displaying them in the forum. A common hack and not something I'm afraid of doing again.
