Hello, i'm really not sure if this is where i should ask this, if it is not please re-direct me to where i may ask.

I am currently running a php 7.9 nuke site on a windows 2003 server using IIS 6.0. I am using a theme i downloaded called Charcoal 2 and i like the look of this theme. my problem is with what i guess is called the message block. i use this block as my "welcome" message and i want it to stand out a little. the think is i can not change the font size or color. no matter what i type, after i save it and go look at it the font size is always the same and so is the color. i have tried using HTML code and BBCODE tags and in the editor they work, but when i save the changes and go look at the home page none of the size changes and color changes actually apply.

does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what i may do to make my welcome message stand out???

I ran into this problem myself and it took me a while to get it right however it does mean that you are going to have to go into your script and change a few color codes. The first thing that I did was to that theme that you are having the problem with and open up that folder then open the “Style” Folder, then open the “style.css file and take a look inside.

In there you are going to see all the color codes for your theme and you can make the changes in there that you want to see. Be sure to copy and paste a copy of this script to a notepad or wordpad file so that incase you screw it up you can change it back.

It took me a few hours to work out all the bugs, but I got it working great, I am not sure if this is what you are looking for but I hope it works.
