Can't install PHPNuke
I own my own domain and I have two subdomains I host on it. One subdomain is running PHPNuke just fine. The other subdomain that I want to use PHPNuke for is giving me some trouble in installing it into the subdomain directory.

I keep getting a message that says:

The installation can not be completed:

- You cannot install more than one script in the root directory of a domain.

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.

However, I don't have any (at least I don't think I have any) scripts in the root directory.

The only folders I have in this subdomain are:

catalog (which contains my OsCommerce site)
cgi-bin
Create New File
.htaccess

Could someone perhaps help me out with suggestions, tips, advice, explanation as to why I can't install PHPNuke into the root directory of this subdomain?

Are you using a web installer? I haven't used one myself, do you have a link to it?

No, I don't use a web installer. At least, I don't think that I do. On my domain, I just click install and it does it all for me. There's nothing other than those folders I mentioned above in the main directory of the subdomain that is giving me trouble. I can't link to my OsCommerce site just yet as it's not ready to be made public just yet; but I don't think that is or should be causing any problems since its not installed in the main directory of this subdomain but in its own directory.

Interesting, so from your server control panel you can install Nuke? That sounds nice, but since I have 0 experiance with that setup I can't help you with that part. Hopefully one of the other admins is familiar with it and can help.

Ok thanks for trying, coldblooded Yeah, its a nice feature. I upgrade to the newer versions that way as well. Enter the control panel, click upgrade and it backs up the current installation then does the upgrade for me.
