I have tried using the code found elsewhere in this forum to place a gif in the news start page, but it doesn't seem to work.

Can images be placed in the news pages?

thats the correct code. And yes they can be placed. I recommend placing Thumbnails of the images in your news post.

Whats your site? I could come submit a news story for you to test teh images and make sure your problem is legit.

I found my mistake, I was trying to post a message. As soon as I used stories, it posted fine.
