Confirmation Email - 12-17-2004, 11:16 AM

I'm new to all this so bear with me please. I tried out making a new user when signed out. Filled out the application, got the email, but when I click on the activation link in the email, I get nothing. Just a page cannot be displayed. Can anyone help?

make sure the link in the email doesnt contain "http://http://www.yoursite.com..."

If this is the case check the website address in "Preferences" and remove the http:// from it - the email adds it in for you.
If the http:// is already there and the email adds another http:// and you will get a cocked up activation link.

if not check the activation link to see if there is anything else wrong with it.

I found something. I noticed in the link to activate the account, it doesn't have the subfolder I put Nuke into. I put nuke into a subfolder called portal. Once I add that part into the email link, just after the domain.com, it works fine. What do I need to do to change this?

Go into "Preferences" and make sure you have specified www.yourdomain.com/portal as your website address.
