editing downloads with phpmyadmin

hey i add downloads to my site...and there are certain information i leave out about the downloads suck as "version" now i was wondering how can i just delete that field from the downloads section completely so i wudnt have to look at the word "version" with a blank next to it...and i was wondering if i can do that from the phpmyadmin section in my cpanel
