This is the most secure version of phpnuke that I know of and it comes with Nuke Sentinal.

That's entirely up to you. I'd say if your site was new it's best to just start again but only you can determine whether or not the content lost is irreplaceable.

Your wasting your time with 7.8 so I'd just use the link I gave you above and read the instruction included in the HowToInstall/index.html file.

It's a rather easy install for a very secure version of nuke.

I just dont like it very much because there are certain things like news on the front page and some modules/blocks that arnt with it.. i just dont like it very much. Is there an earlier version of nuke that is more secure?

EDIT: What about nuke evolution? IS that save? if not how can i make it safe?

This is not a support site for Nuke evolution. Ask the makers of that Nuke version and they can answer your questions.

Also, I am not sure why you don't like Nuke 7.6 There IS front page news module etc. and you can add blocks and modules and so on yourself. It is pretty much the same as 7.9 for the most part. BUt much more stable and secure. Take the advice or not, it's your choice, but you are pretty much on your own with anything higher than 7.6.

Good luck.
