How do I edit the httpd.conf file. Actually this is what is happening>>
While configuring the galleries, I received the following error>>

So How do I rectify this? And how do I make Apache accept and obey all .htaccess files? Kindly reply soon, I'm desperate! :-?

as far as I believe that isn't a major error for gallery to work, so you can ignore it!
If you don't run your own server you probably can't change the file
