Installation issue - new user activation.
Likely a simple config problem but I've poured over it for a bit now with no luck. Really appreciate some help on this one.

I have a fresh installation of PHP-Nuke 7.5.

The problem I'm having is with new user registration. When a new user registers, an email is sent out with a link, the link brings the user back to the site but returns "Login Incorrect! Please Try Again...". I have checked the newusertemp record in phpmyadmin .. the pending registration is there.

The new user is myself .. i'm also the God Admin. I can log in and out as admin no problem. I've tried deleting cookies and tried again .. no luck.

the site is installed in a subdirectory of the root .. i have a subdomain directing users to the site - teleportage.techasaurus.ca to techasaurus.ca/teleportage. Not sure if this is relevant.

Thanks in advance!

Got it working ...

although i set up a sub-domain to redirect to the folder the website, the in the admin preferences must be set-up without the use of the sub-domain.

(ie .. it must be URL= yourwebsite.com/subdirectory

NOT URL=sub-domain.yourwebsite.com)

Hope this helps someone!
